RSC INTERVIEW ON KAZAKHSTAN

In an interview with Poland’s TVP World on 2 December 2025, RSC Director Richard Giragosian was a guest commentator for a 15-minute news program entitled, “Kazakhstan’s strategic balancing: EU, Russia, and China insights.”

With host Sascha Fahrbach, the show focused on the significance of Kazakhstan as it marks a decade of enhanced partnership with the European Union, while also maintaining its strategic alliance with Russia.  The online interview also assessed how Kazakhstan navigates its relations with the EU, Russia, China, and the U.S., balancing trade, energy, and security interests.

The interview concluded with a look at how the country leverages its pivotal position in Central Asia, the impact of rare earths and energy deals, and what lessons Armenia can take from Kazakhstan’s diplomacy.
