CHALLENGES TO TURKISH FOREIGN POLICY:
THE CASES OF THE SOUTH CAUCASUS AND SYRIA
Wednesday, 8 May 2013
Golden Tulip Hotel
In cooperation with the Embassy of France in Armenia, the Regional Studies Center (RSC) invites you to a special presentation and discussion focusing on Turkish foreign policy on Wednesday, 8 May at 14:30, to be held in the Golden Tulip Hotel’s Vivaldi Room.
The special presentation will offer a unique assessment of Turkish foreign policy, with a specific focus on challenges to Turkish engagement in the South Caucasus and from the ongoing war in Syria. Although the presentation will be in English, there will be translation provided.
The director of the Regional Studies Center (RSC), Richard Giragosian, will open the event with a brief general analysis of Turkish foreign policy, followed by a presentation by Dr. Bayram Balci, a visiting scholar at the Middle East Program at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where his research focuses on Turkey and Turkish foreign policy in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caucasus.
As an independent “think tank,” the Regional Studies Center (RSC) offers a regular series of similar events and briefings, aimed at providing an alternative source of objective analysis and information covering a wide range of critical issues.
