
The European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs recently released a report from a joint meeting on September 18, 2013 focusing on “Turkey-Armenia Relations.” The meeting included an “exchange of views” and “the presentation of a joint report on relations between Turkey and Armenia” by Richard Giragosian (Armenia) and Cengiz Aktar (Turkey).
.Please note that the joint report included two separate papers with one unified section of policy recommendations.
The meeting was organized by the European parliament’s Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union, Directorate B, Policy Department and was sponsored by the Delegation to the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee, and the Delegation to the EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, in the presence of the Permanent Delegation of Turkey to the European Union and Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the European Union.
